Jet has added seven new sites to its network over the past few months.

Since joining, five sites have already been reimaged with Jet’s brand on canopies, stanchions and pumps, and the other two sites will be reimaged by the end of this month.

At the point of joining the Jet network, the sites had a combined volume of 18mlpa, but this has already increased and further growth is predicted.

In Essex, Jet welcomed Cressing Service Station, which is located in the village of Cressing near Braintree. In Surrey two station, Frimley Green Service Station in Camberley and Ockford Road Service Station in Godalming, have joined the network. Fyfield Service Station near Marlborough, Wiltshire, and Tilthams Service Station in Aldershot, Hampshire, have also signed supply contracts with Jet.

In the north, Jet is the supplier for Penny Petroleum’s Holystone Filling Station in Newcastle upon Tyne, and for Intake Developments’ Intake 11 site in Stocksbridge, Sheffield.

Admiral Vedamanikkam, manager of Cressing Service Station, explained why he chose Jet: “Over the past 18 months I’ve been built up a good relationship with the team at Jet and just one month on since reimaging, I’m delighted with the way things are going.

“Fuel sales have risen sharply from 20-25,000 litres per week to nearly 35,000 litres per week. There’s also been a knock-on effect on shop sales, with an average 10-15% increase in weekly sales. The decision to go with Jet was an easy one: the deal is transparent, I really like the people and the Jet forecourt imaging is bright, fresh and eye-catching.

“Most importantly though, Jet’s competitive fuel pricing has enabled me to hold my own against two large supermarkets which are located within five miles of my site. The feedback I’ve had from my customers is fantastic – they feel like they now have a completely new site with competitively priced fuel. I’m feeling very positive about this fresh start with Jet and look forward to continued success in the coming months and years.”

Guy Pulham, manager, regional sales at Jet, added: “These new contracts are testament to the strength of our dealer package. We’re finding that dealers are looking for honesty and transparency when negotiating contracts, but also for the duration of the contracts. With Jet there are no hidden costs so dealers know exactly where they stand. This, coupled with our strong security of supply and wide range of dealer support, is helping us to further expand our independent dealer network throughout the country.”
