Cleaning equipment company Karcher has reinforced its commitment to the UK car wash market by buying Atlantis International. Karcher UK managing director Simon Keeping commented: "Atlantis has been Karcher's exclusive distributor of car, bus and truck washes since 1996. We have been impressed by its expertise and market knowledge. Coupled with an excellent service proposition and a strong range of water recycling systems, we are confident that we are acquiring a strong foundation for further expansion." Peter Spencer, managing director of Atlantis, will continue to be in charge.
