A Staffordshire-based company is selling a range of automatic recycling machines which reward consumers for recycling. Recycling Options has brought out three machines that can record, crush or shred used containers made of glass, plastic and metal. The standalone machines are designed for forecourts and c-stores, and can give customers vouchers or points on a loyalty card, which can be redeemed at local stores or linked to co-located vending facilities. Integral TV screens can also show ads or special deals. Recycling Options managing director, Paul Ure, said recycling was particularly valuable in rural locations where there were usually few recycling facilities. He added: "Cost is always an issue but through working partnerships and sponsorship between brand owners, suppliers and retailers, our systems can be installed and managed as cost-neutral or revenue earning facilities." 01782 629888 |
