Walkers has launched its SunBites and Baked better-for-you brands in sharing packs. The company says the move aims to capitalise on the growing number of consumers buying healthier snacks.

It also aims to boost evening snacks consumption. SunBites, launched last year, is already worth £12m, while the better-for-you sharing sector is worth £135m and is growing by 14.9%.

Launched in 2006, Walkers Baked is, according to the company, its biggest better-for- you brand, worth more than £37m.

Baked is available in ready salted and sour cream & chive flavours, while SunBites is available in original and sour cream & cracked black pepper varieties.

Both ranges come in 95g bags and have a rrp of 99p.
