The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has welcomed the publication of a revised Tackling Tobacco Smuggling Strategy which outlines the reorganisation of enforcement against smugglers between the UK Border Agency and HMRC. But it warned there was a need for significant new funding and targets to reduce the market share of illegal tobacco. MRH (GB) Ltd has signed a three-year contract with Tokheim to supply its UK pump business. Tokheim said the deal included putting its Quantium pumps, Vapour Recovery Stage 2 technology and Crypto VGA outdoor payment terminals into the Malthurst-Pace network. Total has launched two support websites offering information on pricing, marketing, training, best practice and legislation. Dealer Net is aimed at dealers while CODO Net is for company owned, dealer operated sites.
