Sainsbury’s has opened its 300th petrol station, at Livingston, in Scotland.

The site, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is also the retailer’s third remote manned petrol station, offering six filling positions that use a pay-at-pump system.

Sainsbury’s head of fuel, Avishai Moor, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing a petrol station to our customers in Livingston, and the fact it’s our 300th makes it even more special.

“We’re always looking at ways to offer our customers even more convenience and value when it comes to fuelling, and this remote manned station gives our customers quick and easy access to fill up their cars at a time that suits them.”
