The Red Bull Flugtag is set to soar back into London's Hyde Park on June 7. The man-powered flight competition will see 40 'loopy' teams attempt to take flight in flying machines they have built themselves.

Flugtag will be supported by a £2m marketing spend, including TV advertising and terrestrial TV coverage of the event, together with a heavyweight national TV campaign to recruit participants.

Following last year's Air Race in London, Red Bull recorded its most successful month of sales ever. More than 32 million cans were sold in July, proving consumer events can have a direct impact on retailers' tills.

In addition, Red Bull is planning its biggest push yet for sugarfree, including a stylish new range of POS support.
